I have a blog. I have several. I try and try to find a topic that I'll stick to and fail miserably every time.
But it's time for a blog. One I can post to when I have thoughts or a recipe or my dog does something cute or I wanna talk about marriage or share a picture. I need to make my blog generic enough that I will actually use it.
This is it. I can feel it, y'all.
I picked "Seasons" for my title because life is all about seasons. Some seasons you're rich, some are poor. (Current season: poooooooor) Some seasons are happy, some are sad. (HAPPY!) Some seasons are busy, others are quiet. (Erm...) You get the idea.
What better way to start than talk about this season, right now?!
I am 27.
I'm a newlywed. I have been married for 37 days. My hubby is awesome. (Once upon a time, I was married before. I think that's important to know. It was very painful, but it made me a much better wife!)
I have 2 bulldogs, Hudson and Bricklin. They are the catalyst for many a Facebook post! I enjoy showing bulldogs and am an aspiring breeder. One day, I'm gonna do a post or two on that.
I'm back to retail. I have a degree as a Medical Assistant, but in case no one noticed, it's hard to find jobs. But I'm looking forward to getting to know these jobs better and do my best to do them well.
I'm a Christian. This is higher on the list, if these were in order. I don't believe in picketing with signs or yelling my beliefs. I believe in loving others. I believe there is right and wrong and that accepting Jesus Christ is the only way to get into heaven. I believe Christians make mistakes too, sometimes really big ones that hurt people. I believe in trying to do better.
I have a wonderful family and lots of amazing friends. Since I got married, I moved about 2 hours away from where I grew up and where most of those friends and family are. The internet is awesome, and I'm working on making more local friends.
I'm learning how to balance. I like naps, but I also like it when our house is clean. I like making impressive meals for my husband, but also couponing and saving money. I would like a dishwasher, and I promise to never take it for granted again.
I'm looking forward to making a family someday. I love my nephews and nieces, both my actual ones and the honorary ones in my family, and my friends' kids. I'm so glad to be part of their lives and enjoy learning from them until I try out my skills on my own kiddos one day.
Alright, I think that's enough for now. Let's see how this goes! *FINGERS CROSSED*
